Aeropress Brewing Guide
Aeropress is for you who want quality in the cup quickly and efficiently. Aeropress utilizes and combines the best of three brewing methods: plunger pot, drip coffee and espresso.
- Boil 300 grams of water. Let the water stand for a few minutes so the temperature can drop to 92 - 95°C.
- Come onepaper filterat the bottom of the plastic filter. Pour some hot water through the filter and into the server you will use for brewing.
- Weigh out 17 grams of coffee and grind it medium coarse.
- Place the plunger approximately 2 cm into the AeroPress cylinder and place in an inverted position
position where the piston is at the bottom. Pour in the ground coffee. Shake a bit to even out the coffee.
- In about 10 seconds, pour 50 grams of water over the coffee in a gentle, circular motion. Stir the coffee so that you are sure that all the coffee has become wet, and leave it for 30 seconds.
- Then, pour the last 200 grams of water over the coffee in the same slow, circular motion. This should take about 1 minute.
- Unscrew the plastic filter on top of your AeroPress and empty your server of water.
- Place your server upside down, on top of the AeroPress filter. Hold the server and AeroPress together and in a sliding motion flip them so that the AeroPress is on top of the server.
- Slowly depress the plunger for about 30 seconds until you hear a hissing sound.
- Bon appetite.
