Floor cannon

As a floor cannon or young worker (>18 years), you must be able to keep an overview, run fast and act as the extended arm of the baristas. It is important that you are happy to meet new people - both guests and colleagues and generally have the "yes hat" on.

Work tasks consist of serving, tidying up, cleaning tasks etc. and as an integral part of the team, in close cooperation with the baristas, you will help to the flow in the coffee bar works and that the guests have a good experience from start to finish. You will acquire knowledge about the basic parts of coffee brewing from ground to cup and how to stand on your own two feet as part of a team. The working hours will basically be one shift at weekends of 6-8 hours.

Part-time barista

As a part-time barista, you will have the opportunity to work in a flexible and social working environment alongside your studies, leisure interests or other activities. As a starting point, working hours are divided into one weekday shift and one weekend shift, but it is also possible to take more shifts.

Furthermore, as a part-time employee, you can also enter into an agreement to work as a "morningfrisk". This means that you put your working hours from 06.00-10.00/11.00 on weekday mornings and thus have time to catch up on studies or other work afterwards.

Duties consist of brewing coffee, serving guests, serving and cleaning up, preparing food and handling goods. As a part-time barista, you are an integral part of a team and the same requirements for professionalism are set as for a full-time barista. You will be trained in coffee brewing from "ground to table" in the form of hand brewing methods, processing, espresso brewing, latte art and quality control.

Full time barista

As a full-time barista, you will have your daily routine in a flexible and social working environment. You will be trained in coffee making from "ground to table" in the form of hand brewing methods, processing, espresso brewing, latte art and quality control.

You will gain experience within the service industry in all its nuances and develop skills within coffee brewing. As a full-time barista, you will have to be at the forefront of the hustle and bustle periods and overcome daily challenges with an overview.

Assistant manager

Assistant manager is the role for the full-time barista who wants to take on even more responsibility and acquire knowledge about more administrative and operational issues.

As an Assistant Manager, you act as the Manager's right hand and help with product orders, shift plans, stock management and training. As an Assistant Manager, you are responsible for gathering the team in the absence of the Manager and ensuring that daily tasks are handled correctly. Furthermore, the Assistant Manager must be a supervisor for baristas in terms of service, quality of the coffee, etc.

Manager

As a manager in Original Coffee, you must basically have proven yourself as a full-time barista over a period of time. You must have experience from the coffee shop and naturally assume responsibility.

As Manager, you will be responsible for the operation of the coffee bar as a whole in the form of training, shift schedule, product orders, development of employees and the coffee bar, stock management and as the rock behind the bar. Becoming a manager is a goal that as a full-time barista you can work towards and strive for.

Baker

Become a baker at Original Coffee. As a baker, you play a central role in ensuring that our bakery offers fresh baked goods and tasty, high-quality cakes to our guests in all of our coffee shops every day.

As a baker at Original Coffee, you are expected to have a passion for baking and an eye for detail. You must be careful and precise in your work and have the ability to work efficiently. We are looking for a team player who can cooperate well with our other staff to ensure good operations in our bakery.

All bakers are welcome – professionals as well as amateurs. At Original Coffee, we offer the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team where there is a good atmosphere and space to learn and experiment.

Working hours will typically be in the early morning to prepare the pastries for the day. Our bakery is located in the heart of Kødbyen and opened in the summer of 2023.
