From bean to cup under one roof
At Original Coffee at Bag Elefanterne 15 in the heart of Carlsberg Byen, we bring together a coffee shop and roastery under one roof. Here you can enjoy a flat white with latte art or a hand-brewed filter coffee, all while watching the beans being roasted on site.
With our own roastery, we can complete the experience: from green bean to finished cup, all under one roof. This provides transparency and allows us to invite guests even closer to the process.
You won't find better quality coffee in Carlsberg Byen anywhere else.
Coffee brewed from beans roasted in the same room
When the beans arrive at the Bag Elefanterne roastery in Carlsberg City, each coffee is treated individually. It is roasted, sorted, and taste-tested weekly before being sent on. The cup you hold in your hand is never far from its origin.
Behind the coffee, you'll find Original Coffee's own bakery, where everything is made from scratch with butter from Thise Dairy and cardamom from Tanzania. This isn't convenience baked goods. It's craftsmanship that matches the cup.
