A coffee from the Ethiopian highlands
Benti Nenka originates from the village of the same name in the Hambela region of Ethiopia, where coffee is grown at altitudes between 2,000 and 2,300 meters above sea level.
In this area, coffee cultivation is deeply rooted in the local community's culture and constitutes a vital part of the farmers' livelihood. Most farms are small – typically between 1 and 2 hectares – and the coffee cherries are carefully hand-picked by landowners and their families.
Flavour notes in the cup
In the cup, you'll find an aromatic and vibrant profile with notes of bergamot and blueberry, which give the coffee its fresh, floral character.
Nectarine adds a juicy, fruity sweetness that balances beautifully with the soft body from natural processing. It's an elegant and complex coffee.
