Buku Sayisa means “blessed valley” and is the name of the valley where the coffee beans come from. The beans are harvested in the Hambela Wamena area, where several coffee farms are spread across the highlands at an altitude of 2350 meters above sea level (masl.).

Buku Sayisa is one of the highest coffee growing areas in Ethiopia, and the altitude creates the optimal conditions for excellent coffee quality.
