Behind all the coffee is our own roastery in Carlsberg Byen, where we ensure quality and taste in every cup.
Our selection consists of carefully selected beans from all over the world, for both espresso and filter coffee, as well as biodegradable capsules made from our own beans.

Over the past 25 years, coffee farmers have become poorer and coffee production is threatened by climate change, deforestation and a lack of transparency in the value chain. Ethical Trade Denmark has therefore established the Danish Alliance for Responsible Coffee .
We share the honor of being part of the Danish Alliance for Responsible Coffee with a total of 37 other Danish players.
Our shared vision is that behind every cup of coffee we drink in Denmark, there are committed partnerships to restore nature, improve living conditions and increase resilience to climate change.

We work hard to only import clean, well-sorted and uniform beans that meet our standards. All coffees we buy are carefully selected and sourced by our Head of Coffee, Kasper S. Frandsen, and our roaster, Reza F. Anissi. Both have many years of experience and deep insight into the entire value chain from soil to cup.
When the coffee lands at our roastery Bag Elefanterne in Carlsbergbyen, we treat each coffee individually. It is roasted, sorted and quality-tasted every week before being sent on.
In the heart of Kødbyen, our bakery is located in a beautifully converted butcher shop. Here, craftsmanship and passion meet as our skilled bakers create bread and pastries from scratch with the highest quality ingredients.
We collaborate with carefully selected producers and use, among other things, butter and milk from Thise Dairy, vanilla pods from Mette Ravn, and cardamom from Tanzania, wild-harvested and gently for the environment.
All our baked goods are baked and quality-assured with care, so taste, texture, and responsibility always go hand in hand.

Our coffee shop at Strandlodsvej 13Z in Amager is located in a quiet neighborhood close to both housing and harbor areas. Here you can enjoy your coffee in cozy surroundings, breathe and have a quiet moment in the middle of the city life.

Our coffee shop at Göteborg Plads in Nordhavn is located between the harbor, modern architecture and open urban spaces. The atmosphere here is bright and calm with views of the water and life in the neighborhood, a perfect place to slow down and enjoy a coffee in cozy surroundings close to the waterfront.
Our coffee shop on Bernstorffsgade in Vesterbro is located close to Copenhagen Central Station and Tivoli. Here you can retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy your coffee in cozy, quiet surroundings.
Our coffee bar at ILLUM Rooftop gives you a very special experience in the heart of the Inner City. Here you can enjoy your coffee with a view of Strøget and the city's rooftops, where the light and atmosphere create a calm respite high above the hustle and bustle of the streets.
Our coffee shop at Østerfælled Torv in Østerbro is located in the middle of a quiet and local neighborhood. The atmosphere here is relaxed and present, a place where you can enjoy your coffee in cozy surroundings close to both city life and green areas.
